Cold forging

Lump at the bottom of the furnace is slag containing particle iron. The iron which broke the lump and was taken out is very low carbon.　(It's small bloom.)  So they can be cold forging. But if I beat too much, they will break.

It's smelted from iron-rich slag and FeO-rich slag.

Very small iron , so  I cold forged. It's difficult to cold forging  because including slag.

Experiment

I smelted from iron-rich slag and FeO-rich slag (not from bog iron ore).
Results....that several iron particles were made.
